USA COVID new infections are still very high. Now USA COVID death rate was doubled, from 0.7% to recent about 1.5%. This death rate equals to that in India.  Masks, Vaccines; Vaccines and masks. Current mRNA vaccines should have some protections even to delta variant.

Based on the New York Times’ data, the death rate of Delta variant is FOUND today  by Dr. Jinhai Wang TO BE lower in USA. In India, it was about 1.7%, and in USA, IT IS ABOUT 0.7%. It is unknown what percent of those later COVID infections are breakthrough type cases.

The leading causes of death in humans are heart diseases, cancer, stroke, etc.  Therefore, humans could die at their 40′s, 50′s, 60′s. But there are people that they lived to 90′s or 100′s, and they left this world without any known diseases. Hence, are humans on individual programed death?

Bible stated that human life span dropped from 900 years old to 120 years old. Indeed current average life spans for USA people is 78 years old, for China is 76 years old, for Japan is 84 years old. None is very close to 120 years old.

How to improve individual life span? It is a billion dollars’ question.

The vaccination rates of states are from 68% down to 35%(according to CDC), roughly about 50% Americans had fully vaccination. Delta variant is strong in infection, fast transmission. In vaccinated people the outcome is better, though still the infected can infect others. In unvaccinated people, it may cause severe disease, and death.  Mask, Vaccine, Social distance, Stay home. The third COVID WAVE was controlled by vaccine and MASK/SOCIAL DISTANCE/STAY HOME. It is unknow whether delta wave would be the bigger COVID wave than the third wave in USA.

The death rates for different COVID variants are different. For delta variant, the death rate is about 1.7% in people without vaccination. The death rate of this variant in vaccinated people is yet to be determined. Delta variant is the main variant of COVID in USA now and is peaking as high as over 100,000 new cases of infection a day.
