It was reported by New York Times that hearing loss, including temporary loss and weak voice loss (whispering near ears), has increased  AMONG TEENAGERS. The reason is unclear at this time WITH CLAIMS of not aware of exposure to loud music.  There could be multiple factors.  It was back in July that I accidentally went to a tour, a tour of exclusively attended by college students or teenagers with a few exceptions of middle aged. Great singing, great guitars, but just the drums were so loud, I really wanted to cover my ears. I only stayed for  a bit of more than one hour. In contrast, a few days later I enjoyed 8 hours of Lilith music. It is unknown whether this type of “loud music”, I mean the “drum” part, have anything to do with the dramatically increased hearing loss in teenagers.
