The HIV pandemic is not the result of people wanting to have too much fun. It due to people having too much fun with too many partners without prevention and protection.  The simplest and most effective way is using a “rubber thing,” or a condom. For people in poor areas and youth, they may not have enough information or education. Education is paramount for prevention. Once people there want to protect themselves, the second issue is who should provide condoms. This is a problem in places like Africa or Cambodia. Which country should take up the challenge of shipping condoms there for free: the EU, the United States, India, or China? The best approach might be to build factories there with international funds from multiple countries. It is good to help people help themselves. In my opinion, all countries are willing to do that.”—from a new book Music and Human Health
