Mario Lanza was an American tenor and movie star in the 1940′s-1950′s. During his short stay (1921-1959) on earth, he recorded many big pieces of music in his way, such as Because you are mine, O Sole Mio, younger than springtime. He was one of the best singers of century 20.

Pop King Elvis Presley said of Lanza in 1972: ‘I had records by Mario Lanza when I was 17″.

Luciano Pavarotti was also deeply influenced by Mario Lanza, saying: “In my teens I used to go to Mario Lanza movies and then come home and imitate him in the mirror”.
